Hello, this is my first substantial post, for a couple of years I have been
looking for a Rivendell, finally decided the Homer Hilsen was the right
model for me. The Dark Gold is beautiful, it is the Velveeta Mac and
Cheese of the lineup.

Here's a quick build list:

Frame: AHH - 51 cm
Wheelset - Onyx Vesper 28h laced to polished quill rims (the splurge item
on this build)
Tubes - Rene Herse TPU's (not as hard to install as some have commented)
Tires - Gravel King SS 650bx38
Bars - Albatross
Levers and Brakes - Paul Comp Polished
Cable Hanger - Crust
Downtube Shifters - Gran Compe
Saddle - Brooks Hammered Rivets
Pedals - MKS
Crank - Silver 38/24
Cassette - Shimano 11 Speed 11-34
Rear Der. - Shimano Nexave T400 NOS - Thanks Eric Marth!
Front Der. - Shimano Nexave T400 NOS - From Polish Ebay

Thinking about moving the rear shifter to a bar end. Need a longer stem
(currently a VO 80mm) Anything you folks might recommend?

On the maiden ride I did a nice 33 mile loop from Manhattan Beach to the
Palos Verdes Peninsula, due to earth sliding into the ocean, PV Blvd South
is now closed to bikes :(

Thanks, Seb
