I recently picked up a pair of Smartwool cycling-specific socks at REI
for about $15 and I really like them. They're called "Ultra light
mini" or something like that. They come in black or white.

Mine look a little different. Mine are all black with just a little
gray logo and don't have all that gray stuff on the top. Maybe the REI
picture isn't up to date. Or maybe Smartwool changed them and the pair
I picked up in the store is an old model.

Long story short, they're nice and thin. My feet stay cool and I can
reuse them a few times before they get too rank smelling.
