Thanks, y’all. That’s a Widefoot cargo cage. And the weight on the front was a little squirrelly to me at first, but I got used to it. I managed to navigate some bumpy terrain without having to dismount. But, I already have some future changes planned. The Nitto front rack only has 1.5mm of clearance with the 2.3 tires, so I’ve put in an order with Pass and Stow. I’m also not sure about the Boscomoose bars, yet. I might try out a separate stem and handlebar setup so I can angle the bars down a centimeter or two. There’s larger panniers for the back rack that weren’t installed so, I’ll have to give it a test run with it fully loaded as I have an Appalachian weekend camping trip planned for September. I should have everything dialed in by then.

Looking good and welcome to the supersecretclub

I've been wondering if a Susie would be a fit in my life. Always tempted but never quite enough. What cage did you use to hold your thermos?

IMG_0304.jpegOver the past five years, I’ve built up four fixed gear bikes, one nine speed, and now my seven speed lugged Susie (I call him Wesley). I just got back from my first ride off the beaten path with him and wanted to share a photo of the build. I’m already itching for another. I believe the Charlie Gallup may make a great Christmas gift to myself. Or maybe Valentines. We’ll see.
