The Clem frameset is $1,300 so that would leave you $700 for parts to stay at $2k. I would put together a spreadsheet list of parts with prices and total that up to see. Which bike would suit you needs better? I would not base my decision on a few hundred dollars if this is to be a long-term bicycle for you. Doug
