A few things I have used, starting with hot summer training for the death
valley double last year:

Arm coolers are great if you don¹t want to spring for the Boure jersey, or
if you want to convert a light, short-sleeve jersey to a sun-protective and
cooling one.  I¹ve used these, but there are plenty of others that work

Hammer endurolytes are great for hot weather cramping, and you can dose them
up as the heat goes up. They don¹t seem to upset my stomach, and they are a
good way to make sure you get a constant supply in hot weather when many
other foods become unpalatable:
