The Tektros that I use (aka Performance Bike Forte Team levers.... aka
Tektro RT354AG) have a 2 position adjustable pull(linear/canti).
That's what the nut is for on the beginning of the lever arm. The
FL730 does not appear to have this, like many of their seemingly
infinite number of brake levers. There is no play in the pivot. The
FL730 should work with canti's, but "should" doesn't guarantee it
works "well".
Anyway, yes ,the Riv one is different than the VO offering, it is the
Tektro RT354AG.  It's not listed by Tektro, but google it and it's
available all over.

My experience with it, it wasn't so great either. Adequate, but not
great, at least with Sun Tour XC Pro's. I switched to the RX4.1
inverse brake lever(Albatross bars), and it works fantastic.
