Thanks for all the replies about mid-sized Rodeo weight. It seems that a
mid-sized Rodeo (I can prolly get a 57; my 1999 Joe built custom is a 57
with a slight upslope). I expect that, with a dt shifter based 1X8 and and
nice light 32 spoke wheels and a Flite (no gd Brookses) I could build up a
sub 19 lb Roadeo.

And, hey! With an ENO I could have that 622 fixie fastie that I really,
really need!

Have you seen this?

A quote therefrom, worthy of the esoteric wizdum of BXNYC:

"It has an integral chainstay bridge, and uses a slightly lighter seat tube,
and the combo saves about 3 ounces, or about the same amount of weight you'd
lose by spitting five times and cutting off a mullet."
