Thanks all for the kind responses! It’s such a smooth ride that I’m always looking for excuses to hop on. It’s also so unexpectedly speedy and really zips when you want it to. Hope to join some local rides soon.
Marty and John – David is correct and that it just a shadow from the pedals. Sorry for the confusion. Eric – They are indeed the pricey Blue Lug ones <https://global.bluelug.com/rew10-works-hex-brass-valve-cap.html> which I was very fortunate to receive as a gift. They thread pretty securely but I’m always a little worried they will disappear. Allan – Love that noodle and cable hanger routing! I picked up my hanger on the cheap cheap and made it work, but it’s pretty short and pushes the cable bend a bit further than I’d prefer.
