Hey y'all, my riding group is doing a Solstice Campout on Sat June 24 at Mountain Lakes Park in North Salem, NY, right on the border with Connecticut. Accessible by Metro-North Railroad from NYC (approximately 8 miles from Goldens Bridge, closest MNR station) as well as points north/east/west. It's pretty much wild camping without many amenities—no water, *maybe* a port-o-john if we're lucky—but we somehow snagged the large, lakeside group campsite which has a couple of lean-to's, a fire pit, and a grill.
We have plenty of extra space, so if anyone would like to join, reply here or DM me for deets. Bountiful rolling gravel to explore in the surrounding horse farm-dense area, and even some singletrack and trails inside the park.
