I rode it around the neighborhood a bit. I live on a steep slope so I could get a decent feel for it.
My Davidson feels very strange simply because it is a low standover height road bike. Since I've just lowered the standover by another 8mm or so makes it feel tiny. Despite that, the MaxyFasty tires look just like Jack Browns when I'm in the saddle and they seem to corner and soak up the bumps just as lusciously as Jack Browns, as they should. I think the plan will be to do the hilly 35 mile commute to work on Tuesday or Thursday. The bike is 22.5 lbs as photographed.
