Steve suggested the same thing and it actually makes alot of sense.
Not meaning I won't get another bike in teh future but it really is a
more economic way to get more out of what I have right now.

It did great as it was, the Col de Vies are not super wide and a
pretty good all around tire but for long road rides like this I think
I might try the Maxy Fastys.
