I am deep in the throes of missing my bike. March is feeling like a long
ways away and I have stopped looking at my Rivendells as I pass them by.
It’s just too sad.

So instead, I have taken to watching the Bicycle Film Festival. I stumbled
across that account on Instagram and was intrigued. I bought my “ticket”
and have been in raptures on my couch, streaming the beautiful videography
and immersing myself in the stories. These stories are beautifully done,
and the come from around the globe. Most of us here probably know Bicycle
Nomad - his story of following the path of the Buffalo Soldiers Bicycle
Corps (the all-black 25th infantry bicycle regiment that set out to test
the effectiveness of moving troops by bicycle) - is featured in Program 4.
You will go to NYC when the BMX’ers take to the streets in a mass “ride
out” called EBRO. You will go to Switzerland and see if a road racer can
win her first gravel race. We will make fun of spandex. Watch a 74 year old
mountain biker rip it up in Utah. And so on.

Choose how much you’d like to pay and get your access via email. It’s good
until sometime in Feb. And post here if you watch it - I’ll get even more
enjoyment out of this knowing that you did.
