Jim makes a good point. We gotta be a bit self-policing here or we'll
suffer from over-post-itis. We all know there's other, more general
interest lists out there that offer a "digest mode" to deal with the
volume. One of the things I like about this group is we can agonize
over the new paint schemes, model names, etc. and no one will call us
crackpots. Part of our problem is all the non-Riv stuff Riv sells,
i.e., Nitto, Schwalbe, etc., that we like to talk about. Ah,
bags....

Perhaps what we need to do is take it private when there's only 3-4
people engaged in a long thread that develops out of a legitimate Riv
question? For instance, there was a recent post on choosing a Riv for
a tour (or something similar) that evolved into a detailed route
planning seminar. I know; I was one of the guilty parties. I'll try
to do better in the future.
