Lisa: The Nitto Big Front Rack gives you a lot of options and is a wonderful rack. In my case, when torch first touched fork, the bike was already six years old, with plenty of paint abuse in evidence. You not wanting to re-paint a brand new fork is understandable. Eyelets are a nice convenience but clamps do the same job.
