Thanks for the replies; they are strengthening my resolve. My
completely illogical resolve. I promised myself that I was done
buying bikes after I built my Roadeo last December (2009 was a
profound year for bikes for me). I have everything I need (I don't
have a cross bike, actually), and my apartment is overrun by bikes!
Alas, the creeping desires have crept. The thought of a lighter,
plusher daily bike, and all those fringe benefits of another 650B (at
what would seem to be a great price for what it is) - a backup rando,
a travel bike, etc. Then I remembered that I like my LHT a lot! But
it is heavy, and I do carry it up & down my stairs every day. Not to
mention the LHT is rather more replaceable than a Bleriot, [insert-
diety] forbid!

Then again, I really like the feel of my 650B AHH. I would very much
prefer to ride something that felt like that here in the city every
day. And why not do so, right? Life is for the living of it, and
mine has significant 2-wheeled co-existence... may as well fully enjoy
it!

This daily Bleriot will see some real action! Chicago streets,
Chicago winter, not-concrete/asphalt road surfaces, the occasional
trailer, whatever dancing a bunch of bikes get into when they're
crammed onto bike racks. The Surly takes it all in stride, so I'd
want the Bleriot to do the same. I won't abuse it, but I will use
it! Now I just have to find it (the impending agony of ebay, blech).
Having said that, is anyone on the fence about their personal 59cm
Bleriot?

Thanks for indulging me....
