Good riding with you, Tony! I only did the 73 mile north loop and was completely knackered at the end. I think I need one or two more lower gears for that much climbing. As I was limping in, Tony was leaving for the south loop -- another 40 hilly miles worth of riding -- and he was looking as fresh as ever. How were the steep bits Tony?
I saw a good number of Riv's: a father on a nice gray/cream Roadeo and son on an Atlantis with wood fenders; a couple from Oakland, with one on an Atlantis and the other on an Ur-Riv (Bridgestone, that is); I saw a couple of Hilsens, including one that went zipping by me on McEwen Road, a very steep climb. Riv was represented among the volunteers too, with Rich Lesnik at check-in and an Atlantis owner at the Island rest stop.
