Being honest, I'm surprised that the SKS plastic fenders are still being sold by Rivendell (and are a go-to of Riv owners) now that there is such a wide variety of good quality aluminum fenders nowadays. The SKS are definitely the best of the bunch for plastic but don't hold a candle to aluminum for looks, rigidity, and longevity. Plus, less plastic!
