Well, the snow melted by the time I got out after noon, and just as well as I had to drop something off downtown for my daughter, so rode the new Matthews road bike.
But interesting to hear that others' favored puttering/cruising gears are much like my own; again, 65"/15 t now, but probably will want 61"/16 t if I ever *do* get to ride in some snow.
