John, that's lovely. I can't read the tires' labels (generally I hate
over-logo-ing, but I advise RH to make their labels bigger) but are your
tires Naches Passes? Extra lights? I've put almost 200 miles on the Naches
Pass EL's that I installed on my June 2020 Matthews custom to replace the
Elk Passes, and they are wonderful tires; really, even taking into account
1/2 lb additional weight on each wheel compared to the Elk Pass's, they
don't seem to roll any slower.

*If* your tires are indeed the Naches Pass, question: could you get fenders
over the tires and under the brakes on that frame?

Also, what are those cantilever brakes? I am not merely curious; I really
like my Tektro CR 720s with Salmon (Shimano cartridge) aftermarket pads,
but I do get mild front shudder, and I am open to alternatives.

My first Riv road custom was a late 1994-ordered, early 1995-delivered
custom road bike to replace my 1992 XO-1; I told Grant, "Make it better
than the XO-1." He replied, "Oh, it'll be better." And indeed it was,
designed around the original All Rounder but with tightened angles and road
tubing; very nice. The 2 later custom roads improved even on this one, and
my current Chauncey Matthews 26" wheel road bike for AM and fixed gear
drivetrains takes it further, to the apotheosis and ultimate fruition and
summum bonum and Holy Grail of Grant's initial, road-biased development of
that original All Rounder.
