I’ve never, until seeing the Vio helmet, thought about helmets for visibility. I wore my fun polka dot ones hoping to be interpreted as whimsical and fun so maybe folks would be less inclined to run me over. It feels like there’s a natural angst between the Lycra riders and cars...I was hoping to be seen as something less provoking. But I can’t deny that more is more when it comes to lights for night riding, and I’d be happy to have a lighted helmet. I’d have to find a way to put the charger near my helmet, though, or it will be forever dead.
