The reason "they" didn't make a remark is probably the same reason we don't usually stop every cyclist on the street to exclaim about his bike -- we're not particularly interested. I for one can't read the minds of the people who ride and wear plastic, which I don't particularly care for, btw, and I expect Eduardo can't either.
