Gill, thank YOU for sharing your delight. Incidentally, I’m the one who renamed the boring RBW Blue to “blue-green-shot-through-with-glimmer-like-sunlight-on-seawater”. If you like it, I’ll take the credit, and if you loathe it, I’ll accept the blame. That color is beautiful in all lighting, I think. Mine’s from 2019, but I’m assuming the 2020 is the same shade of blue.
I don’t even think of gender when I look at the Clems anymore. There have been so many men who ride them - all over the internet. My brother in law is a former college athlete, stands 6’2” and ordered the Clem L BECAUSE he wanted the step-through frame and no one makes one in his size...save Rivendell. Now he can stop ripping his expensive dress pants because no more will he swing a leg over a top tube. Bosco bars: game-changers, I agree. There is no going back, you will be ruined for all else. The problem I have is that ALL our family’s bikes have them and loading several Bosco’ed bikes is not for the faint of heart. Sitting upright is so comfortable, and it will make you want to wander. Don’t let them tell you it’s “sit up and beg” - it’s the seated command position! 😜 You’ll love your new Clem, I think. Top tubes...who needs ‘em?
