These work well, but beware! They need to clamp very securely between the
stays; slightly too relaxed and they can fall off and end up in your
spokes.

That happened to mine; fortunately, no accident and even, no damage to
spokes, tho' the guard was twisted like a perverted pretzel. But I was able
to de-pervertilize/de-pretzelize it, and now I use it only with a velcro
strap to keep it in place.
