I'm in agreement with that. I'd say any of the colors as a solid would be better than any of the splits. I have a coupled All Rounder and like how the couplers' design evokes a continuity of the frame tubing 'underneath', almost like a piece of jewelry wrapped there. I think splitting the paint wrecks that illusion.
