Paul: BTW, the 1 x 10 is not unusual. If it does what you need done, it's right for you. Long ago, Grant said something to the effect that a bike frame was just a place to hang all the parts you need for what you want to do with your bike. I doubt there are too many Rivendells out there that are duplicates.
