Thanks, Zed. I'm guessing therefore, that the newer Clem L has a longer
effective toptube and less need for a long-extension stem. Our 2015 Clem L
(correctly sized at 52 cm) has a cockpit that feels pretty crowded--even
with Dimension HiRise bar and a Dirt Drop stem. I like to ride moderately
forward, so I plan to experiment with an Ahearne Map and a 12cm  Technomic
stem.
