Have been on here for a few months, lurking around and getting some insights into the world of RBW. Not an owner yet but getting one is definitely on the short-term bucket list.
Came here because I was looking for a Mixte for my wife when some Betty Foys and Yves Gomez came up and research led me to this site. Decided to go a different route though and bought a new Soma Buena Vista which I am currently building up. Originally form Germany, I now live in the far NW burbs of Chicago. I am an avid biker (riding and collecting), did a lot of MTB while living in the Alps but then switched to road bikes given the circumstances in IL. Getting older, there is definitely a need for something more relaxing and practical, i.e. hauling groceries, runs to the post office etc. So like I said, I hope I will be a proud owner of a Rivendell soon.
