Funny that the topic of V-brakes has come up just now. Braking has been the Achilles' heel of my Hunq. I've tried Paul Neo-Retros and Touring cantis (currently equipped) and even after extensive fiddling informed by Sheldon's articles they still don't work to my satisfaction, especially under load and in the wet, which basically describes my commute half the year. I've been nervous to pull the trigger on linear pull brakes because of concerns that they'll clear the fenders, but after talking to both Paul and Grant I ordered up some Motolites and Love Levers that are scheduled to arrive today. So that's my SARS-CoV-19 quarantine project for the weekend. One way or another I'm going to have some surplus Paul stuff to sell soon.
When I had Grant on the phone recently I asked him about the Riv V-brake project, and he indicated that it's still quite far out. But while looking at the IRD website I did come across this link, https://www.interlocracing.com/shop/page/6, which has a placeholder for "IRD Rivendell V-brake" - although at the listed price I think I'll pass...
