Speaking of wanting a Lezyne Road Drive, 7" or 9": What other short (=/<
9"), light, sturdy, proven minipumps -- preferably all metal -- are there,
as alternatives to Lezynes? I like the Lezyne hose with pressure release,
but if another very good mini has a very good chuck, I could dispense with
the hose, at least for this bike (gofast, stripped. With the other, errand
road bike, I sometimes find myself obliged to remove the panniers, often
heavily loaded, if I use a hoseless pump; with the hose, I don't have to
remove anything; just screw on the hose while holding the loaded bike up
with my body, and pump away). But the chuck would have to be HpX-level of
quality.
