Tom, I really like the Nano 2.1. I have them on my 64 Toyo Atlantis. They are especially nice if you’ll be riding on some pavement and hard pack as well as the trails you mention. They have a center thread that rolls fast and pretty quietly on pavement. The edge has great grip, without any abrupt surprises as you lean into corners. Mine are mounted with tubes on Synergy rims, which creates a nice rounded profile.
