Esteban Per your advice I spent a little piece of my Easter Sunday setting up my handlebar bag decaleurless. It sets up awesome. The floor of the bag has a velcro'd in stiffener board, and all the corners are leather trimmed, which makes the whole cube pretty darned stiff. It's lashed twice to the platform and once to the vertical loop, so I am in like Flynn.
