Plus one for low to no stand over clearance and technical trail riding. This is the set up of both my Hunqapillar and QB and I've ridden Rocky Mountain trails with and without loads and bailed any number of times and never once had an issue. If you're bailing onto the top tube, you're doing it wrong anyroad. Gus Boots Willsen is a near mixte, and I really don't notice a difference in the top tube or not.
