I was travelling recently from my home in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, to Madrid and then Nerja, Spain. I’m sure others on this list can relate when I say I automatically check out bikes wherever I go. During the trip, I had noticed a mtb brand or two I wasn’t familiar with, but nothing otherwise overly exciting.
However, on the last day, October 9, while driving the rental car through a busy downhill road in downtown Granada, I noticed a very particular shape of handlebar coming up the hill in the distance three lanes over. “Are those moustache bars?!” Yes, yes they were. Through the traffic, I was able to sneak another look when we passed one another and I got to see their very determined and deliberate rider riding atop a beautifully blue Atlantis. What a wonderful surprise! I would have so much preferred trying to catch him on a bike of my own, and in my fantasies have a chat, and maybe ask him take me around a local route. But instead, I continued driving the rental car to the airport. If the rider reads this forum, or if someone on the forum knows him and can pass it along, please accept my best “Hello from Canada!” wave. Best wishes and happy riding, Matt -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
