I have to agree with the above sentiment about tires. While some Compass tires would certainly ride much better; I kinda felt like putting super nice tires on went against the whole vibe of the bike. I have a Schwalbe on the back of mine, but it looks exactly like the Kendas. For the same reason I resisted the urge to put fancy Nitto racks on mine and it's got chunky BMX grips
