Arthur: I've used most fenders, but not those from Portland Design Works. They do look nice, but can you say how they are sturdier than Honjos or Berthouds? (I know that Honjos and Berthouds seem to be sturdier than fenders from VO; they're also quieter, tho' I haven't found H's or B's noisy.)
I'm not disagreeing, just wondering, because I my try them for a couple of my bikes; I particularly like the breakaway strut feature. Have you found that they resist denting better than Honjos (I've only used the "hammered" models) or Berthouds (smooth, stainless steel)?
