I visited the DC area a couple of months ago and had a great time poking around Bikes At Vienna (http://www.bikesatvienna.com/). They specialize in recumbent and folding bikes, with a good selection of less common accessories too (Brooks saddles, dynohubs, etc...). If you have no interest in recumbents or folders it may not be your cup'o tea, but it was well worth the trip for me..
