I haven't had any issues with the levers yet but I figure if I plan on doing long, multiday rides, I'll have less to worry about since servicing DTs is more much straightforward.
I think after writing it all out, I think I'm going to go with the modern build (with my Force levels) since the only reason I wanted the DT was for L'Eroica and I'll pick up an old bike for that!
