This looks like the type of thing I would hope Riv would spec on the Boots if possible. Simple, low-cost and low maintenance without sacrificing some modern amenities like clutches and big cassettes. For the type of riding these big cassettes are mostly oriented to (MTB) I don't see bigger jumps being a huge deal.
