John: That's not crazy but perfectly rational. The current iteration of the Atlantis shows what many years of product development can produce. I have an '03 and was pleasantly surprised at how the LWB version is more comfortable, yet gives up nothing in handling & manuverability. Setting both bikes up as you describe sounds like the way to best use of each.
