I don't think they will. Have Marathon Supreme 700x40 on mine. Clearance is fine. But the tires have gotten bigger over the past 7 or so months.
My non-Riv bike is set up with 26 inch 47 cm Schwalbe Marathon Cross tires. With fenders. Still not a "regular" road bike. Really do enjoy wider tires on the road. Especially during the spring (also known as pothole season.)
