Not sure what's possible, but here's a couple ideas:

Thinking a president is not always involved in inventory/asset management
for their charity...

If she were willing, Christine could accept ownership of the new HHH on
behalf of BTCC, but just assign it for use by a captain to be shipped
directly to them.  That would reduce her need for involvement while
maintaining control for possible future use if/when her circumstances
change.

Could she recommend another chapter/branch/club/captain that is in need of
the HHH?  There may be individuals who would want to be captains, but do
not have the tandem with which to do it.  A tricky bit there is BTCC has
the 501 (c) (3) status and another may not.
