Without doing any minimal research myself, I feel like there was a reason
they stopped doing them and wrote about it somewhere or another. My guess
is there was a sound reason which probably still holds true. Part of it is
probably a system to manage it (like w/ the points/gift certificate thing
last year). Seems like it would help w/ a cash flow issue, but maybe not if
only like 100 people do it. I hear what Bill's saying, but any business
should take into considerations what the customer is asking for, maybe not
on operational things but definitely on product and what they're trying to
sell, this is a bit of a grey area though. Either way, I like that Grand
and co are on here and chime in on feedback things like this 'why doesn't
Rivendell do x' type questions.
