" Like a Blug article Will wrote a while back, upright bars are not 'slow'. If you feel slow with upright bars, that's you, not the bike :)"
Yes. I've seen several riders improve their performance by getting into a more comfortable position on the bike. This has required raising their handlebars from the big brand low racer level to the RBW even with or (better) higher than saddle level. For unracers, the delta in wind resistance is neglible while the power and comfort improvements are discernable. Lovely Homer. Hope you enjoy a ton of miles on it. I've had 3 Rivs and always enjoyed which ever one I was on at the time. For the past few years, it has worked out so that ost time has been spent on the old Road model (most similar to the current Roadeo) with the Ram (a cousin to your Homer)close behind. Both are getting rejuve treatments at present. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
