Yepp makes a rear rack that works with their seat, and it's bombproof. They also make an adapter that can be fitted to a tubus rack, this is probably what makes Tubus nervous about saying you could put a kid back there, they have to trust everyones ability to mount an adapter securely. The dedicated Yepp rack will make the seat slightly lower profile, making it that 1.5" more stable. And yes, Yepp seats are the best.
