Hello Jim the grips are Velo Orange Rustines. I don't even know if they still do them. I never found them good on Albas etc (loose fitting/too short), but they fit fine on the drops. In this case there is no tape underneath. I could have probably made that work, but just decided to take the short cut and start the tape where the grip ends. The added benefit was that the grips are flexy enough that I could run the shift housing under the grip on the right side.
