The thing with RBW is it's not a big bike company trying to fill market niches. 
It's Grant, and he has always pushed the envelope of what a bicycle can look 
and feel like to get it to work better for the everyday "going for a ride" 
rider. Remember when the big guys decided "plush" was a thing, and suddenly 
road bikes sprouted higher bars, longer caliper brakes and fatter tires? That 
came strictly from Grant's insistence that road bikes could become better for 
most of the unracers who were buying them. 

Now that the comfort revolution is complete in Big Company World, Rivs are 
stretching boundaries again. I think it's good for biking, plus it kinda 
doesn't matter if it's not. Grant runs the joint and he's building the bikes he 
wants to see. I think that's cool!
