I don't think anybody suggests that EVERY carbon frame or fork will fail in the next XX years. In fact, probably a TINY fraction of a percent MIGHT.
I also don't think that EVERY Toyota on the road is going to accelerate unexpectedly and uncontrollably within the next XX years either.
