The ability to run wider 2.8" tires. If you consistently slide out on your
rougher, softer rides, or are consistently getting beaten up on your
bumpier, rockier rides, you might be longing for 2.8" tires
3. As a more trivial aside, what is expected to be "fancier" about
the MTB?
I guess I would expect joints to be fancier. Either lugs (less likely) or
fillets (more likely) over tigged joints. I expect the graphics may be
fancier.
