So, the bike is built and it rides really nice. The Terraferma fork has 2.5 cm
more rake than the standard steel Waterford fork. The bike is quick to corner
but remarkably stable. Just some laps around our block so far which is a mile
loop on a hillside. You get to coast fast and then work hard on every lap :).
If the weather stays dry, first road ride will be tonight. Picture at the
link and the photos have most of the parts listed. Only thing bought new for
this build are the stem adapter and stem, cable housings, front brake (came
with bike). The saddle, seat post, handlebar, cranks, deraillers, shifters, bar
tape, pedals, etc all came off either the Riv Road, a prior Saluki, or the
Rambouillet. The geometry is very classic Riv. 52 x 52 frame with 42
chainstays.
