I watched the Outskirts video a couple days ago; I had mixed feelings about it. First of all that was a serious amount of riding, so props to them for riding 100+ miles every day INTO THE WIND! Which sort of brings me to my next thought, which was why did thy name ride East to West instead of West to East!? Especially, since most of them landed in LA to start with! It's pretty common knowledge that prevailing winds are from the West/Northwest! They were sponsored by Specialized & Rapha, surely someone there could have alerted them to this major blunder!? Lastly, I was annoyed by all the silly people in the comments area, complaining about them not wearing helmets, even though 80% or more of the ride was in areas where a helmet would have been of absolutely no use.
